2025 Board of Governor - Nomination
Energy Club of WA invite all members to consider nominations for our Board of Governors.
The Board of Governors represents the interests of the members, designs and implements its strategic direction, and is responsible to ensure that the Club complies with the Club rules and the Associations Incorporation Act 2015.
Constitutional requirements to nominate for a position on the Board of Governors:
- The person nominated must be a current and financial member of the Club
- The person nominated must not be ineligible for Board membership under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 (WA) or the Club Constitution.
- The term is for three years on the Board
- 2025 Deadline: Friday 28th February, 2025
Positions on the Board can be very rewarding, it is a great way to give back and support the industry through the Club that promotes careers, education and networking within the WA energy sector.
The role of Governor is critical to the Club and a position on the Board requires active participation throughout the 3 year term, with a time commitment on average of two hours per week. You will be required to attend monthly Board and strategy meetings, actively participate in your assigned subcommittees, events and programs of the Club.
This opportunity is available for limited numbers. The Board of Governors have appointed a Governors committee to review and shortlist nominations based on the skills, experience and support that is required to assist Energy Club WA achieve its strategic objectives. The shortlisted nominees will be presented to our members for approval at the AGM, scheduled for Thursday 27th March, 2025.
All nominees are asked to complete the nomination form and skills matrix, and submit along with their resume.
Please note that is is a self nomination and we ask that it is supported by a paying member of the Club or referee, who will be contacted for references.
