The Energy Club WA currently provide two different seminars;
Introduction to Industry Seminar
The Introduction to Industry is a one-day seminar designed for those who wish to gain a broad understanding of the energy industry at an introductory level.
Delivered by industry professionals and experts in their fields;
the core topics cover upstream oil and gas; from exploration through to drilling, development and refining and fuels, with pointers to our future energy industry.
This seminar is recommended for people who supply services
to the energy industry (finance, law, engineering, etc), administration staff, students, new employees or those
looking for employment.
This seminar is a valued inclusion to your induction program. Participants receive an electronic copy of the Presentation
and Glossary of Terms, and a Certificate of Participation.
Energy Transition Seminar
In collaboration with Carbon TP we are pleased to offer this newest course to our members and industry colleagues.
Attend the one-day Energy Transition Seminar to get a realistic, fact-based education in energy transition and gain the confidence and knowledge you need to be a leader in this important topic.

- How long will the energy transition take?
- How does this transition compare through history and what can we learn from past transitions?
- What is the Greenhouse Gas Protocol?
- What are the practical and economic solutions to the complex decarbonisation challenges industries face?
- How do energy sources like solar PV, wind turbines, hydro, geothermal, wave, biomass, biofuels and e-fuels compare?
- Is hydrogen the Swiss Army Knife of decarbonisation? Or is it more hype than hope?
- What energy storage solutions offer the most promise - pumped hydro, batteries, thermal, compressed air, liquid air, hydrogen etc.
