We welcome our 2024 Board of Governors
While it was sad to say goodbye to our retiring board members, at last night’s 2024 Annual General Meeting, it was a wonderful opportunity to see so many new and long-standing members.
We had four board members retiring from the Board of Governors this year, they are;
- Lisa Azzarello
- Mike Willacy, Vice President
- Adam Cheesman
- Yingwey Teasdale, co-opted as Treasurer in Elliot Mills place after taking a position
in the Middle East mid-year.
We like to thank each of them for their contributions, time, and experience. They have helped in building the club success during their tenures and we greatly appreciate their time and expertise they have provided.
This year we recieved an overwhelming response to Board nominations and the nominations committee had the difficult task in shotlisting nominees. In addition to participation in the club’s initiatives, other key considerations were aligning skills and experiences with areas for governance that needed to be strengthened; HR and culture, media relations and PR, and finance.

It was a highly successful evening overall. Reviewing the Club's achievements and challenges over the past 12 months, adapting to the ever-changing industry.
We experimented with various innovative topics, and while some of which were not as rewarding as anticipated, each event has led us grow further and improve as a club.
We are looking forward to another exciting year ahead, and eagerly await the start of the next chapter in driving our club forward.
