20Talk is an evidence-based mental health charity dedicated to empowering young adults aged 18-30 with the tools and skills they need to navigate life's challenges. Their core programs focus on providing Mental Health Maintenance scholarships in universities and TAFEs, offering a comprehensive wellbeing literacy course. Additionally, they engage with an online audience of 60,000, delivering relatable and impactful mental health education. 20Talk challenges the conventional approach to mental health support by emphasising prevention and proactive education, ensuring young people are better prepared for the future.
It was an entertaining and competitive night at the 2024 Industry Charity Quiz Night with plenty of fun and games to pass the time, all while raising funds for a fantastic cause, 20Talk.
We like to congratulate the team at Wood, who has taken home the title and winning trophy, once again in part thanks to the many successful mascot auctions at the beginning of every round; this was a great way to raise extra funds. Running hot on their heels as a close second were Ed Pepper and his team, we look forward to more
exciting competition next year!
Congratulations to our many other winners throughout the evening in the silent auctions, as well as Kelvin Andrijich for his closest and almost spot-on guess of the Candy
Count Lolly Jar game. Thank you to GR Production Services for providing the Door Prize, our winner of the night Synthia Tcheuko walked away with a $200 voucher to use at the State Buildings.
A special thank you to our event sponsors; Kent, Santos and Aerison. Without your support, this event would not be possible.
