Samantha Pearce - WA State Manager, Aspen Medical
Samantha is the WA State Manager at Aspen Medical and has been a member of Energy Club WA for the past two and a half years. Enjoying the diverse networking opportunities the club offers, particularly the annual Golf Day, which is a highlight on her calendar.
With eight years’ industry experience, Samantha’s career began after she completed her Bachelor of Nursing. She initially worked at St John of God Hospital in Subiaco before working as a FIFO nurse on a remote island in Northwest Australia. She gained valuable experience in emergency rescue, emergency medicine, and primary health care.
Her career took her into the energy and resource sectors, where she collaborated on health and safety initiatives and completed a postgraduate degree in disaster healthcare.
After managing medical staff for major energy and resource companies for five years, she joined Aspen Medical in 2022 as a senior manager. This Australian-owned business operates globally providing healthcare services. It specialises in delivering medical emergency response and primary healthcare in remote, challenging, and under-resourced settings for the mining, oil, gas, and renewables sectors.
Samantha oversees all Aspen operations in WA, managing medical services for resource sector clients in some of the State’s most remote locations.
She leads a dedicated team that provides occupational health, including skin screening, vaccinations, health checks, and executive medicals.
Samantha is working on various projects across operations and business development with her favourite projects being in the energy sector.
She enjoys building long-lasting relationships with clients and creating healthy workplaces through innovative solutions. Samantha’s industry knowledge
and appreciation of its challenges make her an asset in discussing and implementing healthcare solutions. She is also an observer on the board of the
Aspen Medical Foundation, the company’s charitable arm that focusses on making a difference in Indigenous health.
She has represented Australia in karate, holding a black belt in the sport, managed a heavy metal band, and excelled at rowing in high school,
winning head of the river. She now coaches rowing at Trinity College, where she shares her passion for the sport with the next generation. “I feel blessed
to be part of this community,” she said.
Her motivation comes from the challenges she has grown to appreciate and her talented colleagues who share her goals and aspirations. She is influenced
by strong leadership and the impact it can make on a community.
