What does energy club WA offer to their members?
Our activities are designed to create an environment where members can mix professionally and socially to facilitate
long-term associations, business opportunities and an arena for promoting continued professional development, education,
and industry insights, such as:
- Exclusive Meet and Greet functions – An informal gathering to get to know other members in a casual setting, outside of the larger dinner events.
- Coffee Roulette – Paired with an ECWA member to meet over coffee (in person or virtual), based on your professional and personal interests.
- Leadership and Mentoring Program: Mentoring is one of the foundations of the development of individuals both professionally and personally. The process enriches both the mentee and the mentor, often forming rewarding, long-lasting bonds and relationships. This program is ongoing - an application will add you to our mentor/mentee database and we will pair you upon request throughout the year. You may like a mentor for a specific 3-month project, or perhaps you're looking for a long-term mentor partnership. Regardless of your goal, this program is tailored to suit.
- Career Workshops: In partnership with StudyPerth Australia, we are running workshops aimed at developing networking skills, best practices, and tips for conversing with industry professionals, followed by a networking sundowner.
- Event Buddy – Attendees can opt in when registering to either receive a buddy during pre-drinks at an event or elect themselves to be someone’s buddy and support anyone who may feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable.
- Event Partners – Discounted event tickets, special invitations and scholarship opportunities with energy and mining collaborations. E.G.: APPEA, AOG, AGIT, PNI, WISE, SEA, SPE WA, WAMC, etc…
- Member Appreciations – Under the Microscope articles to promote skills and industry experiences. Milestone and special achievement recognitions and Energy Industry Award categories exclusive to members, celebrating their contributions to our club and industry.
- Access to the members-only area; bookings, search member directory, review approved recorded audio of keynote presentations and webinars.
- Next Generation Schools Program – Inspire the “next generation” about the important role energy plays in our society and the diverse career options available in the energy industry.
